The trade is that you are the builder, the editor, the photographer's assistant and the person who remembers to update the package page. Our plans are the opposite trade: a higher monthly fee, and nobody at the venue ever opens an editor.

For a venue that opened last month and needs an address on the internet this week, Wix is a sensible answer, and we would say so to anyone who asked. You can have something presentable up in a weekend, the hosting question is solved for you, and the cost is low while you find out whether the venue business works at all. Pretending otherwise would be the sort of comparison page nobody trusts. Where we would push back is treating that first weekend site as the permanent one, because the things a venue site has to do get harder as the business gets more real.
Browse ten wedding venue sites built on the same platform and you will notice the same hero slideshow, the same three-column icon row, the same contact form at the bottom. That matters more in this niche than in most, because a couple choosing between properties is reading price point off the design before they read a word. A site that looks like every other venue in the county makes an expensive property look ordinary and an ordinary property look overpriced. Design that comes from your stone, your timber, your lighting and your actual price point is doing commercial work, not decoration.
The failure is never at launch, it is eighteen months later. The autumn photographs never went up because September was busy. The package page still shows last year's inclusions. The new outdoor ceremony site has no page at all, so nobody searching for one finds you. None of that is a Wix problem; it is what happens when website work competes with running events for the same hour.
