Case study, sheet 11 of 20

Routing event space inquiries to the right local team

With event space inquiries, routing is decided on the page, before anyone lifts a phone.

Existing conditions

What the venue had before

On a plan, what is already there is drawn dashed and what is new is drawn solid. This is the dashed part: how vineyard events venue handled it before the work started.

  1. The starting point

The event space inquiries information ignored geography entirely. Contact details were listed without any hint of which one served which area.

  2. Where it went wrong

When it comes to event space inquiries, every misrouted call cost two conversations. The site had the location information; it simply never connected it to the inquiry.

What we built

Each location's contact information appears next to the relevant description. When someone sends an inquiry, the chosen location travels with it, along with event date, guest count and room preference.

Client note
People asking about event space inquiries should not need a map of our internal structure. The page now walks them to the right contact.
